John Gullo Named Chief Investment Officer

Sanderson Wealth Management has announced the promotion of John Gullo to chief investment officer (CIO). In his new role, Gullo will oversee all aspects of the research process including developing and maintaining asset allocation strategy, conducting due diligence on new investments and performing market analysis and commentary. In addition, in his role as chief operating officer (COO), he’ll continue to remain responsible for supervision and oversight of day-to-day operations and will be directly involved with clients as a wealth manager.

Prior to joining Sanderson Wealth Management in 2007, Gullo worked at M&T Bank where he was responsible for asset management of trust and investment accounts in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Prior to that, he worked for Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and The Horizon Group Independent Financial Services, Inc.

Gullo has earned the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Investment Management Analyst. He graduated from Canisius College with a Master of Business Administration and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He resides in Hamburg.
